Duncan is available to come and sleep with you and share the bed if interested. Although you will have to pay shipping both ways and I think USPS charges by the pound.

He would actually filch used dental floss out of the bathroom wastebasket, devour it, and then poop it back out later.
One time I caught him walking around with several inches of dental floss that he'd eaten the day before (I presume) hanging out of his butt.
We learned to be very careful about how we disposed of dental floss!

(93,128 posts)Describing night with their lab who liked to push them out of bed every so often. The dog would lay alongside them and push them off the bed, slowly with the paws.
The toys, don't know what to tell ya there.

(6,087 posts)sort of do the same thing. Probably for the same reason as the dog. He would jump on the bed in the middle of the night with a slobbered up chew toy and shove it in my face waking me up. Of course I would get up and head to the bathroom for a washrag and soap. When I'd come back the warm spot in the bed was now under the ownership and control of a new occupant.

(29,918 posts)I realized that the iFetch ball my little chihuahua had brought to bed was still in my pocket.
His favorites for other than playing fetch are squeaky unstuffed critter toys. While working I look down and theres a pile at my feet.

(1,900 posts)She sleeps on our bed.
I had a tiny green frog on the bed.
Must have hidden in her coat.
My other cat, when he was younger, brought us a present.
I head a noise in the bathroom.
He had brought in a young pigeon and stashed it in the bathtub for safe keeping

(13,273 posts)She carries around stinky a small furry cat toy, as if it was her kitten. In the mornings we will find her other toy, a small white mouse, in front of bedroom doors where family members sleep. We assume it is a gift in exchange for treats.

(10,072 posts)Most wonderful dog, esp around kids.
However, we were constantly vacuuming her hair from like...............everywhere...... Furnace filters had to be cleaned every month.
When she finally passed, we called in one of those quality heating duct companies to clean all the cold air return vents. He had me look in one duct, and showed me the amount of our Golden's hair she shedded that ended up in the duct. He told me that he was considering not servicing homes that had a Golden, or similar high shedding fur. I have talked to other duct cleaning companies and HVAC companies, and they agreed.........
None the less, I would have another Golden. They are a great dog to own..........

(13,485 posts)About an hour later, guys come up on the trail, across from the pond.
"Hey, come on over and set up here. We got some good smoke and drink."
Down, our stuff goes and gets re-set across the pond ---- good time.... (Thanks, guys).
A couple'a hours later, it's bed time and the argument begins.
"Ralphie's sleeping in my bag"
"No, he's not. He's my dog."
"But I carried him up the hill."
I don't know were Ralphie spent the night but I hear that type of argument is the basis for the group's name, "Three Dog Night."

(256 posts)Daphne, my standard poodle, understands that it is not to be breached. However, if her chickadee, her favorite stuffed toy which she brings to bed each night, happens to end up on my side of the line, the rules change. She will migrate to my side of the bed to be with it and begin the process of moving me to the edge, one shifting of position and thumping into place at a time. Her hip bones are particularly sharp as they land against mine in the middle of the night or the middle of a good dream. Gotta love them!

(23,079 posts)I live in a rural area with lots of corn fields and mice.
I would come home from work and find a neat row of mice heads along with a neat row of mice tails lined up on my bed.
The old boy was a mighty hunter. I am sure I have cleaned up over a hundred mouse carcasses from my bed.
