Every once in a while, Arthur decides to pick on Carys

For much of the day she's out of hiding. She even sat in the den, out in the open, when my brother and I were watching the debate! That was the first time he's seen her since she was a kitten!

This morning she was sitting on a little table, about 3 feet away from me. All of a sudden I heard a hiss and a growl, and there was Arthur at the foot of the table and Carys hunched up as far from him as possible. I honestly don't know how she didn't fall off of the edge!

As usual, I admonished Arthur to stop picking on her. I looked at her and spoke some soft and reassuring words, and she gave me slow blinks!! A minute ago she came up for scritches.

Not a bad way to start a Friday the 13th.

Their problem is. Seems Arthur has an issue with her. I hope they grow out of it.

It's great to hear that Carys is spending more time out in the open.

It never goes beyond a swat and that's very rare.

I wonder if he's just adjusting to her being out and about.

She was snuggled up with Gryff the other day and he's usually the jealous guy when it comes to me paying attention to the other kidcats. All I have to do is say 'I love you.' and he comes racing from where ever is he to jump up on my lap.
