We've been feeding a Tom cat with the black and white face for years now, multiple times a day. He lives outside, and turned up his nose at the heated shelter I bought for him. Long story short, King vanished a month ago. For while, I watched for him many times a day. Then I began grieving, heavy hearted, tears. Last night he showed up, looking good, with his usual "Please, sir, may I have some more" meow. Today he is gone again. I've been pranked by a cat.

(159,944 posts)I have a stray (I call her Miss Priss) who I feed regularly - she stops by nightly for a chicken feast. Whenever she doesn't show I am worried something happened to her, but eventually there she is

(1,131 posts)One for about 8 years, the others showed up more recently. One has been tnr ed. I didnt even know what that was until a coworker told me after I explained the missing ear tip. I named him Evander after Evander Holyfield on account of the missing tip of his ear. Hes the only one i can pet. The others are scardy cats. All black. Im the crazy catlady of my hood. When i come home theyre all waiting for their vittles. 😻Im pretty attached to Binxy and Evander, and if they dont show up for a day i get worried.

(7,001 posts)He adores them and they him. We keep a blanket on the sofa and it drapes over on to the floor sometimes. He gets behind it, waiting for an unsuspecting dog to try and lie on the part of the blanket that drapes the floor. He springs out, the pup yelps and the chase is on. I wish I were fast enough to video this action because it is hysterical.
