3. Driving down the road on my farm

I had to slam my breaks when there in front of me was one of those big boys just strolling on a nice summer day. I followed him around on foot while calling all those I knew around my farm. He had apparently been gone for months. It was pretty cool. I followed him into the pond and through the rushes and then the brush. It was obvious I was annoying him when the phone rang. His person lived all the way down the road to where there was pavement then up several blocks I would guess.

They are really cool critters. I used to work at the local zoo so I pretty much knew how to care for it as I looked for his person. It happened fairly quickly so I did not get to enjoy him for long.

Love them.
