Guess who decided to join the bed time snuggle-down

Yup, it was Carys!! She was very chummy with Madoc for the whole day. I had to use the flash to avoid startling her by reaching for the lamp switch.

I'm letting her make the first move. I just stand at short distance and sing to her. Every once in a while she comes in for some scritches. Last night she was nudging up against my hand.

This is great news. Sometimes it takes extreme patience, kindness and love, which you obviously have in spades. My Holly was absolutely terrified of me when I adopted her. She would not stay in the room with me. I suspect she was feral. It took years, but she finally came around. Now she loves sitting next to me, getting pets and scritches.

Didn't Arthur and Carys used to be close? I seem to recall Carys was at the vet and you posted a picture of Arthur in the window with the caption "Where, oh where, has my sweetheart gone?" or am I misremembering that?
