Is the situation in MI significantly different than CA's Prop 8?



Maybe it is just me, but I don't see any real difference between the judge in Michigan deciding that a vote which outlawed marriage equality was unconstitutional and a judge deciding Prop. 8 was unconstitutional.


The RWer here in MI think this is going to go to the Supreme Court. I think the SCOTUS already decided this last year.


Am I missing something?
