Companies that advertised during Tucker Carlson's show on Fox News have begun fleeing in droves following his anti-immigrant comments last week.

Carlson's comments were widely rebuked, and several people threatened to boycott his advertisers, which began cutting ties.

On Monday, Carlson reiterated his claims and likened the effect of the US's immigration policy to a city in Mexico.

2. And for the companies who've chosen to keep advertising?

They seem to have something of a unified response. We advertise by demographics and psychographics, not politics.

So be it.

It's up to the market to do its work. Just don't buy from those advertisers. How's them demographics?

Mitsubishi
AstraZeneca
John Deere
Alka-Seltzer Plus
Farmers Insurance
MyPillow
Gold Bond

The wonderful thing here is that with the possible exception of AstraZeneca, there are choices. There many car makers. Maybe not a lot tractor suppliers, but some, and probably less expensive. Lots of alternatives to Alka-Seltzer and Gold Bond powder (though maye stay away from Johnson & Johnson). Many, many, many insurance companies. And MyPillow? Go to Amazon.

I don't use or intend to buy any of these products, so I'm clear and won't have an impact. But if enough take action, we've seen that wonderful things can happen. (Glen Beck anyone?)
