Second test in just over a week

VANDENBERG AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. - A Minuteman III missile was successfully launched from Vandenberg Air Force Base early Thursday morning.
According to base officials, the missile took off at 12:40 a.m. Thursday. A team of Air Force Global Strike Command Airmen from the 90th Missile Wing at F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyoming, launched an unarmed Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missile for the second time in just over a week.
Col. Kris Barcomb, the 30th Operations Group commander, was the launch decision authority.

According to the video, at the link, the payload landed in the Kwajelein range in the Marshall Islands.

How much do these fireworks cost the American taxpayers? Guess it's a nit in a $trillion budget.

I know these tests are planned far in advance, but the timing coinciding with the NK launches is interesting
