Seniors
Related: About this forumI really value our seniors at DU
I really do. The patience, the maturity, the wisdom, the knowledge, the kindness. I know all of you have to endure the occasional ageist remark or joke, and I wince at those too. Thank you for being here and sharing your wisdom with us. On a side note, there was an 80 year old gentleman who was coming here but said a few, um, unfortunate things. He said he was leaving. I wish he didn't leave, I had a soft spot for him. Oh well.

(12,342 posts)Use your 3 years and 32 days wisely to get ready. Yes financially but even more so, keep active, mentally and physically. Keep moving and keep breathing.
And if you take up cycling after being off the bike for years-try not to fall off - That's advice I need to take to heart at least no one ran over me like a possum in the road.
