Related: About this forumThe cell phone has put millions of video cameras out around the U.S.
And we have no vids of angels, bigfoots or ghosts.
We do have dozens of vids of racist murderous cops though.
And the average white guy is more likely to believe in angels, ghosts and bigfoots than that racism is an issue.
I don't even know what to say...

(17,502 posts)They supress all the images of themselves; that covers what people think are ghosts, angels, and bigfoot.
Cops on the other hand are ham fisted cowards who get too scared to do anything but shoot. Did you see the latest video? The cops voice and hands were trembling. He had probably peed himself.
Big bad dark skinned people obviously scary.

The internet is where people who have never experienced racism have become experts because they've read something somewhere from a dubious source.
Some of these self-proclaimed armchair detectives agree that every black man shot in cold blood deserved it somehow. It was a justified execution. They watch the video, and instead of being outraged, they give their white brothers (overweight balding cops who resemble themselves, or if you're a bigoted woman, look like guys they would date) a pat on the back for a job well done because they don't want to see or know what the designated "Other" experiences day in and day out. They are capable of empathy, but choose not to imbibe.
