I didn't know before just now (reading Wikipedia) that she was asocial. Even before I knew that, even though I'm white, I identify with her and appreciate her so much.

I'm white, too, as is the woman who introduced me to Octavia. I did not now she was asocial; I am Autistic. Might she have been?

Program on KPFK years ago. A very intelligent and articulate person the interviews were always enjoyable.

'Staff Favorite' on them, so I checked them out. That library had a few of her Patternist series, but I had to go to another library to read them all. A few years ago I read "Kindred." I'll have to check out some of the other titles listed at your link. Thanks!
