Potus and Flotus

Thank you for loving us. Thank you for making our life better. Some treated you so cruelly. I am so sorry for that. You, your family lead this Country with dignity and grace. You are the best President in my lifetime. Thank you.

I know you are tired and it is time for you to go.

I want you to go as much as I want you to stay.

There will never be a more decent or extraordinary family in the Whitehouse. I'm so very proud to have been a staunch supporter of President Barack Obama.

I will miss him, yet sure as hell he will not leave us. He cares to much about this Country that others said he did not love. Obama was the one that built us up, saved us from a great depression.

Great man.

Thank you, sheshe.

He probably thinks he should have done more.

However when 3/4 of the house and senate are gop racist, sexist, bigoted pigs that is all you can expect.

This picture showed so much love. It also showed how hard they have worked.

They will be back with us soon after they depart the WH. That is who they are, George.

They are for us and we are Stronger Together.

...of the very best our country has to offer. Dignity, decency and decorum without fail in unrelentingly hostile circumstances. They must be soooooooo tired.

Well done, Barack and Michelle, well done.

We will not see their like again any time soon.

He is so much less of a man, less of a human being than President Obama. The incoming "first lady" cannot hold a candle to Michelle Obama.

family and I, too, wish (with all my heart) that they could be in office forever. They are the best we've had in my lifetime, and I started voting in 1968. Jimmy and Roselyn Carter were on par with the Obamas, but they were laughed out of office by the up & coming Reaganauts.

Tx again for your post and the beautiful picture of our best President and his spouse.

I know they'll be around. The Obama Center will be in walking distance from my house. But the main thing was the feeling of goodness they gave this country about the presidency. We needed that for a loong time. I will miss that feeling and now have to wake up each morning dreading the day, thinking 'what new fresh hell awaits America today.'

Thanks for your post. It's a visual hug and reminder of what we've had -- an eight-year breath of good political life.
