Coming to PBS in February

I am going to give times but they are for CST and Oklahoma (check with your local PBS station). The synopses are shorter versions taken directly from the OETA PBS letter I get monthly (as a proud supporter of PBS). Keep in mind these will likely show up on the PBS app if you have a smart TV and are subscribed to PBS.

Monday, February 20 at 8pm

A documentary about the increasingly common conversation taking place in homes and communities across the country between parents of color and their children about how to behave if they are ever stopped by the police.

Africa's Greatest Civilizations (3 day event)
Monday, February 27 through March 1 at 8pm

A six-hour long documentary series hosted by Henry Louis Gates, Jr. brings to life the epic stories of both little-known and celebrated African kingdoms and cultures.

PBS will be on. It will just be privately funded, and it will get tugged in certain directions depending on its donors. PBS is already heavily subsidized by private donors.
