I am all in with the problems with our police and have knelt for the Anthem as a white man at a Syracuse football game..
However, this article on Huffington Post is what the right is going to use against us.. A black man breaking into his own business to test his security system and someone called the cops... Perhaps, his neighbors were looking out for his business. I am really not sure this was or had any racist intent..

(10,749 posts)This was the guys perception of what happened. He didnt acknowledge the alternative explanation. Nor did I see any thing from the neighbors to suggest they were lookin out for a fellow shopkeeper.

(79 posts)But there are way many more better examples out there than this.. The police did not hurt him, did not arrest him, just asked for ID.. While it may have been wrong for the person to call, I know a bunch of wingers that will throw this one in my face..

(22,336 posts)He was probably just testing to make sure he had the security system set up correctly. That's usually what testing the system means. It doesn't say he was breaking into it to test it, and I think that would have been included in the story if so.
