I hope this goes viral like his NFL stance. He's one to watch no matter what happens in November. Interesting he's one of the few non-black Democrats speaking in favor of BLM issues. If he ever runs for national office, he's going to have the Democratic bases' hearts and mind.
I'm also impressed with his social media game. I live in Va and know way too much about his race in Texas. The DNC should be keeping an eye on his team and integrate them into the party.

(32,538 posts)I bet more support them than is portrayed by that comment.
I also think there is so much to speak out for or against right now it is hard to criticize them for which issue they pick.
Democrats are the good guys. And gals.

(3,218 posts)That's the reason I'm highlighting O'Rourke. He continues to speak out on these issues, and his social media team broadcast them.
I'm sure you would take that bet. Frankly, we don't need their silent backing of BLM. We need their support in interviews, in social media post (no matter how toxic the internet has become) and out on the street.
With campaign offices and teams of public relations positions. I don't think it's that big a problem to make statements on a multitude of issues. That's also why I praise O'Rourke's social media team as they make sure his stances in and out of states are reaching their desired audiences. I like him, but I don't go searching for his takes on these issues.
Nowhere in my post did I say any Democrat was bad.
