And you know what that means: It's time for another music thread. Post a song that either proves or disproves Chesterton's claim.

12. At the library book sale today

I found a copy of the book "Finnegan's Wake". For quite awhile much of my reading has been a repeat visit to my favorites.

9. I just went to a concert by the wonderful Cathie Ryan.

She says that singing doleful Irish songs all the time almost drove her into therapy. She then went on a quest for a happy Irish song. The link below is one of the sad songs and is evocative of the sense of loss experienced by generations of the Irish Diaspora.
