John F. Kennedy's Visit to Ireland 1963 Documentary

I'm a day late in posting this video as a memorial to the late President John F. Kennedy who was assassinated on Nov. 22, 1963.

My family is Irish Catholic and oh how they and many other Americans loved him so.

What a huge loss America suffered that grim day in 1963, a day I will personally never forget.

As my late father used to say, "He was a fine man". Yes he was.

My own father died on this day, Nov. 23, 1997.

May they both rest in eternal peace.

But not old St. Ronnie, who was aligned with the Tory, Margaret Thatcher.

After my father died I found a flier that was being circulated in Ballyporren, Tipperary which is where Ronnie's connection to Ireland was from.

It had not a single good word to say about him, in fact it condemned him for many of his policies and it condemned him nicely! It was being circulated prior to his visit to Ireland and it was not nice!

I still have it somewhere. If I find it, I'll scan it in and post in one of these days!
