I'm about 130 pages into it and I'm finding it rather tedious reading. Does it get a lot better? I'm just about to give up. I absolutely loved his "All the Light We Cannot See" but this one is really dragging.

For me, books (and films) need to grab me quickly. This one failed to do so and yes, I loved "Light"

My wife's book club loved it, so I thought I'd give it more of an effort. I'm done!

Character arcs are surprising and great. It is bittersweet, shows the power of hope through despair. Just a beautiful work.
