(1,367 posts)And it proves that her issues have nothing to do with having to participate in press conferences and her stand at Roland Garros to initiate a change for the benefit of all the players (who never got on board.) She turned it into a cause celebre amongst people who know nothing about the functional relationship between the press and tennis players.
She and her team so badly mishandled this from the beginning that it has made things 10x worse for her and now its a vicious cycle she is caught in. You cannot win anything when you barely play and when you dont play and get caught up in a tight match you dont have the tools in your tool box to turn things around and deal with the adversity.
I hope she gets help now since it doesnt appear she did during her last break. And stays off social media, stops putting herself in the limelight (like at next weeks Met Gala) and stops with the piling up of endorsements deals - which I think adds tremendous pressure on her to win.
