Been watching the Penguins/Bruins game tonight. The Penguins absolutely hammered the Bruins in in the 2nd period. 4 straight goals in like 4 minutes. Somehow the Bruins have clawed their way back to an OT game. The Bruins are without their best defenseman in Charlie Mcavoy, but this team looks pretty awesome (1st game I've watched this year).

2. Bruins win in OT!

They should have collapsed after that 4 goal onslaught. But they tied with 90 seconds left and won in OT. And they had a questionable goal taken away, when they were down 5-2. Amazing comeback.

And the Bruins are surprising some people. There are those who were prepared to label Boston a team in decline with a number of aging stars, but they've looked pretty sharp in the early part of this season. Ullmark has been tremendous. Hopefully Swayman isn't too badly injured and can get his performance back on track because he is one of the Bruins' bright young developing players.
