Interesting NBA Factoids

So, I see what Jokic is doing this time year and thought about his chances of winning 3 MVP awards in a row. (I say no, as there will be voter fatigue. )
So, I looked it up & found only 3 guys ever won 3 in a row. Wilt, Russ, & Larry. Nikola isn't winning 3 in a row!
Then, going through the whole list & found NO GUARD WAS EVER NAMED MVP, until Magic won in 1987. Then between 1987 & 1992 it was 3 for Magic, 3 for Michael. For 32 seasons, no guard ever won the award then 6 in a row. With Jordan winning 2 more, a guard won the award 8 out of 12 years.
Thought those were a couple fun facts.

I just missed their names.
I kept seeing Russell & Chamberlin over & over. My error.
Since Jordan, with Nash, Curry and others, guards have won 7 of the last 24.
I'm surprised Kareem never won 3 in a row, as dominant as he was. Probably some voter fatigue like with Michael & LeBron.

And it wasn't because I didn't go back far enough. I had the whole list.
My HS varsity coach was a huge fan of both of those guys. So, when I dud my playground thing on offense, he was amenable to a point guard scoring first, passing later. As long as my defense was good, of course. Coaches l9ve good defenders that take it seriously. Me, I took it personally if you dared get a bucket on me. He loved that attitude.

I am going with Tatum as the most likely, then Giannis. Might depend on who is leading the East at the end (in which Durant might have something to say about it).

Tatum is awfully good! And, they have the best record in the league.
Seems a good bet, right now.
