My Wife and I saw the ND-USC game in the LA Coliseum. ND LED 24 to nothing. USC won 55-24.

One for the history books.

yes….the wives of these coaches, said something like well, play football and settle it. Not sure, but it WAS THE WOMEN THAT STARTED THIS RIVALRY. It’s always the women. And sooooooo happy the ☘️ kicked their arse.

Was a Junior at USC and got us student section tickets. He also got us tickets to the 75 Rose Bowl, USC V OHIO State. USC won that game 18-17.

I remember when Penn State joined the Big Ten, making them the 11th team but the conference remained the Big Ten and how odd I thought that was. And way back when a National Champion was declared before the bowl games were played. And the Southwest Conference. Yes, the Rose Bowl was Big Ten - PAC Eight. Tulane lost the 1932 Rose Bowl but they got a trophy. It is on display on campus in New Orleans. Beautiful Piece of History. The loss of regularity has diminished College Football for me just a tad. But I still root for my Razorbacks. Bowl Bound with their 6 and 6 record. Don’t know where or when but I’m sure it’ll be an easy Ticket. Like many other Bowl Games.
