Any Lexus NX or UX owners here?

Both come in hybrid, we want the UX for mileage reasons but to get the features we want we will have to special order and it takes 3 months. There are several NX we could choose from and get one now.

On Consumer Report the UX gets high marks all the way around other than they drive unimpressively but SUV's are like that.

The NX has a very low "owner satisfaction" rating, 2 out of 5.

Why? Anybody have one?

1. I have a 2017 Lexus NX hybrid

and I love it..as soon as there's a body change I'm buying a new one...over the years I've owned two Lexus RX and I can understand why the NX owner satisfaction isn't stellar...the RX is roomier and a smoother ride...but after my husband passed away I wanted to downsize and I'm glad I did...I like the UX but it find it all little too compact...

I even have limited space in our garage.

BMW 328I now and we have almost no spare room as it is parked next to my vehicle.

The UX is the same as the Beemer I think and the NX is 2 inches wider.

I read there is a 350 coming? NX 350 maybe, not sure.

2. Not an owner but I looked carefully at them and almost bought an NX hybrid last year

Have owned Toyotas for most of my life. They are loaded with gadgets but the things that mattered were not superior to the competition. They were not comfortable (for the price) for someone my size. Headrest pushed my head forward; steering wheel is too large for my hands to grip comfortably. I hated the styling. The RX seems to be a better deal than the NX, but is too large for me. The UX is tiny, cramped, and wouldn’t work for me.

I have a friend who is much taller, and she bought a 2 year old one. She likes it but also finds it less comfortable than she hoped. It’s a very nice car but just not thrilling to her for the price. She had a German car before.

You might take a look at the Mazda CX-5 or another CX, depending on your needs. Not perfect and unfortunately Mazda refuses to build a hybrid version. But surprisingly nice, much less expensive than NX with comparable features, and highly rated by CR. The ride is not as good as CR says, but fun to drive for an SUV.

The comfort was OK for us, I dont recall the steering wheel being too thick, will have to look at that again.

This car is for my wife, she is 5 foot nothing and while I will drive it from time to time, not my car. I am 6 foot and 160 lbs. It was ok comfort for me but not great. I am talking about the UX now as the NX is maybe too wide for the garage.

5. The UX might be better, then. We are a one car household, so had to have

more flexibility on the space in the car.

My friend ended up modifying--not simply adjusting--the NX headrest (maybe reversed its direction?). She didn't think it compromised the safety and it was more comfortable that way.
