This call to end the White Sox-Orioles game is one of the worst I've ever seen.

It's the same umpire making these egregious calls over and over again and MLB does nothing.

While interference doesn't have to be intentional, I fail to see anything that warrants that call. chicoescuela May 2024 #2
To my understanding when an infield fly is called, the batter is out, and the play is supposed to be blown dead. nycbos May 2024 #4
The ball remains live and the runners can advance at their own risk. chicoescuela May 2024 #9

The White Sox are horrible but this is W for the O’s that shouldn’t necessarily be one.

Maybe the base runner said something? Who is the umpire that made the call?

If I were the White Sox, I would officially protest the call.

Maybe there was an over-under bet or a prop bet on one of the players?

That's how Jontay Porter was found out in the NBA.

I doubt it was the spread on the game because I bet (pun intended) the White Sox covered it. Baltimore had to be favored by more than two runs I'm guessing.

the White Sox are godawful. But as bad as they are, they're nowhere near as bad as this call. This needs to be reviewed at the highest levels.
