Worst thing about winter is the lack of Baseball.

1. 90 days. Opening day is 3/27/2025 exactly 3 months from today.

I just saw a Facebook post that today is Baseball Solstice. We are halfway between the last pitch of the World Series and the first pitch of Spring Training.

I did not do independent research to verify if this is true.

5. Yes I did! I'm in Wisconsin but love the Bears, too. Dang, Caleb Williams gets sacked

way too much. I remember the good old days, my dad loved the Bears during the Ditka years and took me to two games at Soldier Field.

7. Giants: There's a new GM in town. Buster Posey.

He already helped sign Matt Chapman and snagged Willie Adames early.

Unlike Farhan, Buster believes in a stready lineup of really good players, with leadership qualities, not a crazy quilt, and certainly no more walking wounded who take a half season to even start with the team.

So, with this change, the hot stove league should be interesting.

He knows what he wants because he WAS that leader and way above average contributor.

8. I'll definitely be watching the Giants this year. Hope Adames does well; I loved having

him as a Milwaukee Brewer the past three years. Looking forward to seeing Eldridge playing first, too.
