Today a crow sat just outside my kitchen door and cawed loudly. So I offered him a peanut in the shell and he took it from my hand. Then came back for seconds. Several years ago, I had a crow that did the same thing. Don't think it would be the same one. But who knows? They all look alike! lol

(3,038 posts)3. 99% sure that's a Raven - bill size (with feathers) plus shaggy throat.
Otherwise, it's a great photo of an incredibly gorgeous bird. One of my favorite birds to boot - all are smarter than most republicans.

told the resort owner you have a lot of crows up here. He laughed and said they're not crows, they're ravens.
