Grows quick. I want to plant some to screen out my neighbors. Right now I rely on barberry, Beeb willow, and Norway spruce. They grow quickly, but nothing like bamboo.

Bamboo is considered an invasive in the USA. We don't have any creatures who can really thrive with it and it spreads rapidly. It is a grass after all.
