However, that doesn't invalidate my point that if Purdy hadn't been injured early on, it would have been a totally different game.
When an offense can't pass the ball with their 4th string qb, the defense can load the box and stop the best of running games.
It was pretty much game over when Purdy exited the game.

If they'd protected him better, Reddick wouldn't have been able to basically sprint to him and hit his arm as he was trying to throw, and he wouldn't have gotten injured. It's not like some freak non-contact injury where someone steps wrong and tears his ACL.
