Minimalist football

For those who are furious at being shut out of the Chiefs game, you can follow along with Google:

Put "nfl games today" or some such into the search engine. Google will pop up the games to be played. But, it's live, so you can see the quarter, the time, who has the football, the score, where the ball is on the field. From there, click on a team, and Google will take you to a page which will show a play by play narrative, the stats, etc.

Better than nothing!

Many years ago the Twins vs the Yankees playoff game was on sports upstart Fox. They ran commercials through the Twins' at bat in the top of the 9th. The Yankees were way ahead but selling ads instead of live baseball was a producer's call. The commentators said 'We know how that was going to turn out.' I haven't watched faux sports since. Piss off a fan...
