30 November 1974 - Notre Dame at USC at LA Coliseum

50 years ago. A High School Buddy of Mine was a sophomore at USC. Got me and my wife student tickets. Notre Dame led 24-zip. USC won 55-24. That Buddy came through with Rose Bowl tickets a month later. USC beat Woody Hayes and Ohio State 18-17. Two great games in our first year of wedded bliss.

2. A great memory, literally

I always liked listening to baseball and football games on the radio. Phillies in the 60s. When we lived near New Orleans I always had them on the radio in the garage while my Wife Watched the game inside. She thought I was nuts. The game seemed more real when the ears were the number one source of info.
