No, good for you winning the last game of the year.

Jordan Love got banged up early in the game, and while it looked like he was able to return, the Packers elected to save him for the playoffs. If Love had played all game, the Bears would certainly have lost. It was a razor thin margin.

But it does count!

Oh and about the Bears: if Caleb Williams played every quarter like the fourth quarter, it would be the Bears, not the Packers, heading into the 7th slot in the playoffs. Overall, I'd give Caleb a grade of C for the season, but in the 4th quarter, he's an A-. During the first half, he misses throws and somehow doesn't notice open receivers. There are at least five games the Bears lost this year by close margins, four of them owing to bad coaching decisions. The team went off the rails after that Washington game and the Hail Mary, and I could go on and on. But he's been very exciting in the 4th quarter.

I had a class with Dan The Manster Hampton at Arkansas in the 70s. He was literally somebody to look up to. Fayetteville was a hot bed of Bears Supporters back in the day.

for Bears fans, this was a bright spot. They should have beat the Packers both games with a last second field goal, but the first one got blocked.

4 per game. He was hit over 180 times.
The O-Line is awful.

I'm watching the other half of the Black and Blue Division play each other for the top spot tonight.

They tried to give it away, though.
Moore fumbling (unusual for hom).
A lineman getting for for holding on a running play!
The miracle escape by Williams when TWO rushers got to him unblocked.
All that happened in the last couple minutes.
But, you're right: beating the Packers (who played Love until he got dinged) takes a little sting off an otherwise rotten season.

As of right now, the Bears have pick #10 (own 1st), #40 (Carolina #2) and #42 (own 2nd). Not a terrific year for offensive linemen but there is hope a good player will be available at #10. Most critical needs are O-Line (obviously) and edge rusher, possibly cornerback (if Tyrique Stephenson is broken, as he appears to be) and safety (Brisker may never play again after spending most of the season on concussion protocol). They have $80M in cap space.
