Just saw a good suggestion for changing Washington's NFL team name. Red Tails, after the WWII Army Air Corps all black squadron. Keeps a hint of the "red" and yet aligns with many of their players desires.

Or even red tailed hawks, which we have here, though theyd probably go with Red Hawks.
Downside with Red Tails is the inevitable turned tail and ran headlines.
Original name was the Boston Braves, which doesnt help.
Snyder already owns Warriors so that could happen.
We seriously need a change to break the curse (though the curse is probably Snyder).
However, he famously said hed NEVER change the name and said you could put never in all caps. So I hope he has to!
