Cardinals don't belong in the post season

to be in the playoffs either.

Part of the reason why the NFC East has a bad record is because they had to play the NFC West this year.

I was not a fan of the playoff expansion. Whoever makes it will be the first of many-more-than-we-already-get teams who don't really belong in a single elimination tournament for the title based on their season-long performance.

I really dislike the NBA and NHL model of 8 playoff teams per conference, but the NFL will probably go there some day too.

Probably a precursor to another expansion down the line to add another week to the playoffs and increase the TV revenue.

5. The Cardinals defeated teams like the Seahawks & Buffalo

They also beat the same 49er team they lost to today.

If they qualify they deserve to make it.

I always see anti-Cardinals bias. The 2008 Cardinals team was called "the worst team in NFL history to make the playoffs" those who said that never seen the 98 Cardinals who shut out Dallas but they were arguably a worse team than the Kurt Warner led Cardinals.

Go Cardinals! I really hope they win playoff games too.

7. With a playoff spot on the line against a backup QB?

They seemed listless. I don’t follow the NFC West but I was pulling for the Cards. Coach didn’t have them ready. The 49ers left the door open in the 4th quarter.

Not my fault the NFL didn't listen to me. Despite the 49ers injuries they still have a great defense.
