When Brady left New England, there was a lot written about whether the Patriots’ success was due to Belichick or Brady, or a mix of the two. If Brady slips on another Super Bowl Champion hat in a couple of weeks, then Belichick will have to win a Super Bowl next year to avoid that question being answered unfavorably for him.

My guess is that Brady also gets Julian Edelman in Tampa Bay next season, regardless of whether Brady wins a ring or not this year.

4. Brady, just like Michael Jordan, gave his team a brand new identity in the sport.

He elevated the franchise. He should have been given whatever he wanted to stay there just like what the Bulls should have done.

A smart owner and coach gives those guys whatever supporting cast they ask for. The game is about more than money to them, in fact, they likely make more money from endorsements than from playing the game.
