The Raiders broke an unwritten rule and made the Chiefs angry. Bad idea

It’s hard to imagine what motivated the Las Vegas Raiders to prance to the middle of Arrowhead Stadium and stomp on the Chiefs’ logo during pregame warmups. “You don’t want people coming into your stadium and disrespecting what you’ve built,” Patrick Mahomes would later say.

There is no official rule against what the Raiders did but there are also things called etiquette and common sense. And as the Raiders quickly learned Sunday, there’s another thing called karma. Seventeen seconds into the game it was the Chiefs who were dancing after defensive tackle Jarran Reed caused a Josh Jacobs fumble, which cornerback Mike Hughes took to the house for the first of what felt like a million points for Chiefs. Twenty-one minutes later it was 28-0 Chiefs. The final score was 48-9. It was an embarrassment on all levels for Las Vegas. The Raiders’ little pregame ritual certainly didn’t help matters.

Raiders linebacker KJ Wright admitted so after the game. “I would have been upset, too, if I was them,” Wright said. “Anybody that comes there and do that? And they definitely came out and responded to their anger and we couldn’t hold up.

“It was spur of the moment. One guy said, ‘Let’s go’ and we all got to ride together. We all went out there together. We did it as a team and just gave them a little more motivation than we needed to give them.”

Ohio State was playing in a big championship (football) game some years back.

Their opponent's quarterback got on TV during half time and trash talked Ohio State badly and did some excessive bragging.

Ohio State came out of the locker room after half time and cleaned their opponent's clock. The quarterback was humiliated.

and took 2 victory laps in their bus around Arrowhead after the game. When the Raiders were leaving this time you could hear an interesting song being played over the loud speakers. "The wheels on the bus go round and round, round and round, round and round. The wheels on the bus go round and round, all over town". The Chiefs paid them back even after kicking their asses.

school football team.

He was playing for Idaho but helping coach his Colton, WA high school team. I was a sophomore TE on the Lewiston, ID junior varsity. They made us play those guys, after they had won their second consecutive small school state title. That was normal for us. We played all the small school varsities in the area. Getting your ass kicked as a soph, made you fearless the next two years on the varsity, or so they said. In my case, I went against Mikes brother Pat, who started at DE for Notre Dame the next year. That meant getting up looking out my ear hole about every other play.

Our coach had a plan to intimidate them. On the first sound their QB made, the defense fired out and hit everyone as hard as they could. After a five-yard penalty, their tailback broke the next one for about a 70-yard TD! LOL

Mike showed up at a blood drive I was working one day and I mentioned playing against those guys and that was the first thing he brought up. "The never shoulda done that", he said. Ya think? Our coach is still around and I told him that and he laughed his ass off!

go low we go high-score that is! They disrespected the team by doing what they did. Chiefs beat them earlier in the season at their stadium too.
