Are you ready for some College Football Smacktalk?

Arkansas will defeat Cincinnati tomorrow in a game for the ages. The old ages.

And a little lagniappe (look it up) smack talk, Utah State will open eyes tomorrow against Alabama. aha, what does open eyes mean.

Not the usual early MAC opponent. It's about time.

Yeah, I'm ready.

Lagniappe?

FYI: Ohio State favored by 16.5

Pronounced Lon yop. . Cajun for “a little sumthin extra.” In a New Orleans Restaurant you might get an extra shrimp, I.e., lagniappe.

I saw Norte Dame play USC at USC IN 1974. Anthony Davis ran wild. Then we saw the 1975 Rose Bowl USC beat Ohio State 18-17. $12.00 tickets, free “automobile” parking. Still got the tickets.

When you paid your tuition they sent you two tickets in the mail.

Then for the Rose Bowl, as I recall, you had to send in some money to join the lottery for the tickets.
It was inexpensive. You got your money back as I think, cannot remember that piece.
