Anyone else interested in Star Citizen?

Roberts is back and he is making a new Space Combat sim.

https://robertsspaceindustries.com/about-the-game

Im so excited. There hasn't been a decent Space Combat sim made in a freaking long time. For us spaceship jockies, its been so dry...Haven't had a reason to dust off our joysticks for anything other than user made mods in over a decade.

Too bad my pc is gonna suck too much to run it. Going to have to invest in a new computer, it seems. Worth. It.

I don't know if I will play multi-player, pvp turns me off.

Ruin the game by making PvP a huge part of the game. He has always been into making immersive games with deep stories where you can feel like a hero. That's something you just can't have with PvP. Being constantly killed and killing others for no reason is anti-immersive and makes the game too "gamey", which had never been what Roberts is about. Anyways, I'm hoping I'm right because, honestly, I'm sick of every damn game having PvP. I hate PvP.

The persistent universe will have a pvp/pve slider and there is a standalone Squadron 42 part of the game. Interesting to see how it will all pan out. It ain't even alpha yet

The extra five bucks for access to dogfighting next week was a no-brainer.
