9. I'm there with you, Dunc.

The evangelicals took over the Air Force some many, many years ago. Such a shame. We had made headway in actually getting at least "tolerance" for other religious beliefs on Base. But not too long after Bush jr took over, the Wiccan circle worship area was defaced and all but demolished.

And yet, one of the best people I've had the pleasure of meeting was an Army chaplain who really "got it." He stood true to the intent and rule of the Chaplain's code, and I loved talking with him whenever I had a chance.

Right now, this country... all of it... is lost. That includes the military, our civil institutions and certainly our government offices. They've been defunded, stripped down, and commandeered by trump no-nothing lackies. Because of this, I do agree we're way down the road on a financial armageddon. But I also don't doubt trump will cause a nuclear armageddon, too. He's near death and is trying his best (that is, the docs and other minders are doing they're best) to keep him upright and alive. But they're ministrations are losing strength. And I swear trump figures if he has to die, then everyone else has to die... right now... before him. He wants to be king, one way or another.
