It will burn through midnight. We pronounce it Saw-wen in this house. My favorite day of the year!

I love decorating and dressing up.

Am going to set the silent supper for my brother and my closest childhood friend, who both passed this year.

And, down in the swamps of North Carolina we also called it Saw-wen although I also heard Sow-wen and/or Saw-ween.
