I was getting pretty fed up with the world

even before yesterday's massacre of little children.

Where is the Goddess? Why are horrible things happening all over the world?

Why are people slaughtering people, raping people, bombing people, hating people, sending drones to kill people, torturing people? Why are people making this planet unfit for life?

I don't have faith in good any more.

1. BECAUSE people have lost faith in good.

If we are made aware of things, that is what we think about. I believe that the 24/7/365 news cycles that spew only negativity are a major contributor to the increased negativity/evil/violence in the world. We have wonderful positive actions going on all around us everyday, but they are not "broadcast" or sensationalized by the media. These are more the norm than the exception, therefore, they are not "attention-getting", which is what the media revolves around.

May I suggest that you turn off the TV, radio, etc. and actually LOOK for positive things going on around you. Someone smiling at another, opening a door, offering a hand, comforting another. You get the idea. Focus on good & it will show up. Better yet, BE the good & life will improve....I promise. An insurance company (of all things) has commercials that show people observing others doing kind, helpful things & they, in turn, pay it forward. It creates a domino-effect of good. Very inspiring. Think of that & employ it. It will spread like a good virus. Things can & will get better if WE make it happen. It doesn't have to be a huge campaign, just everyone doing a few small things. Like a snowball, it will grow. Hang in there, & know that there is more love in the world than hate. Focus on the love.

Believe it or not, I don't watch television. Only rarely, maybe a couple of times a year, for some major news story or other. But not this one. I have scarcely watched tv since I was a teenager. Went for 9 years once without watching a minute of tv. Don't listen to radio much either, just classical PBS.

It's just that there is so much awful stuff going on in my own family this month -- husband on the verge of a breakdown from stress, overwork & trying to find a new job; two grown daughters physically fighting one another and now not speaking (and having other issues besides), my own 4 years of unemployment and depression... and then things like this school massacre... I just don't have the strength...

Obviously these are times of challenge for you & your family. Times of testing, for sure. All I can offer is try to focus on the good things, no matter how small, & do not give the negative stuff your attention. We are what we think about. Grown daughters are making their own decisions to fight, please don't let them pull you into their chosen drama. We can only change our behavior. Certainly, you want to support you husband in his challenge as best you can. Believe in the good that is here. Focus on it. You will attract what you focus on & intend, make sure it is the positive that you want to see in your life; it is the Universal Law of Attraction. If you stay negative, you will remain w/negative situations. Perhaps trying visualization, or reading inspirational works (I'd suggest Dr Wayne Dyer), will help dispel thoughts of the negative variety. Remember it is always darkest before the dawn. You are a beautiful creation in a dark room. Know that the sun will come up & you can choose to leave that room & run in the sun. Love is here, keep expecting it & expressing it. Things WILL get better! But you have to BELIEVE they will! Hang in there!

14. I listen to soothing, interesting, positive music.

Classical symphonies, chamber music, concertos, generally from Mozart to Shostakovich in time range. Jazz (esp. Pat Metheny, Lyle Mays, Chick Corea). Old rock 'n'roll. World music from many countries.

NO country, no gospel, no boring new age repetitive stuff. No Kenny G.

We are indeed getting better, there is less slaughtering worldwide than there was, even just 50 years ago! We just hear about it more and care about it so much and therefore it hurts us all the more deeply because we are connected to each other in ways now that we never knew before.

We need to support each other now as we grieve for these people whose lives were taken from them. And for the sorrow in us that feels like a deep pond of grief. And then after we have settled and sorted a bit, we need to direct our energy towards resolving the problems that create the blissful ease with which people can kill so many so quickly.

I feel strongly that the days of the NRA ruling us are over. We can do our part of ridding ourselves of them after we heal. Right now, let us rest and comfort each other as best we can.

Its title is "The Better Angels of Our Nature". There is also a TED talk online.

My job is to make artwork showing the presence of the feminine spirit as witnesses and dispensers of justice--goddesses(Kali Durga--who kicks ass and takes names) and angels.

Maybe it is the last of the violence of the Iron Age which has been largely in darkness. As the world releases everything like a feverish body, it tries to expel a disease of the darkness of mankind.

Maybe...

anchor back in the light, having found how easily I could "fall" into lower vibrations. It takes time. Sorry to those I've made uncomfortable; it's energy I must move past. I will say that mystic sight in the positive is more general, and that in the negative is very specific and accurate. I dislike the loss of accuracy but not everything else which goes along with it. I have been as the character Frank Black in the entertainment "Millenium", able to see darkness and to warn against it, and even to work against it. Not pleasant. Thankfully that can now end.

We are seeing manifestation, is all. "That which a thing is, increases" in co-creation energy. In many it is cleansing. In some, it is destruction. And at the end, it is the birth of a new possible way of living. The old masculine model of learning is over for this turn of the wheel. The feminine ascends.

Keep your faith, and hold those precious lives lost at the forefront of your heart. There is much work to be done, the goddess never said transformation would be easy. The days of the patriarch are over, living from your heart and holding what you hold dear as the candle that lights your way is what is needed. The mother inside of us is being called.

Goddess is asking you, what is YOUR answer, what is in YOUR heart...she's not here to do the work, she's here to tell you what needs to be done. Priorities, dear heart, priorities. Did you think the new era was going to be a cake walk? Think again...and listen with your heart. Much work is to be done, the innocents need us.

Yes, yes, mother earth, I'm with you.
