Prequel to the 'New Earth'....?
So many of us who are 'alternative' thinkers have been talking about the earth changes afoot and humanity changing as well. We have discussed polar shifts, solar flares, DNA changes, and dimensional shifts in consciousness and creation.
We have talked about what it will look like, how will it feel to live on this 'new' planet...
The rollout of DU3 is like a strange virtual experiment of this to me. Do you see the metaphor?
Wonder how many will make the leap to be here, wonder how many new faces we will see, wonder if we will still feel safe and at home, wonder if we will fall apart...
I would love to hear your thoughts on this and the reality of our impending changes on the planet

(1,262 posts)I've been following New Age thought for some time now. I can't believe all the channelers aren't exhausted from telling their fans "soon...soon..." Soon the aliens will come. Soon the world will become a petting zoo and everyone will love each other. Soon the forces of evil shall be completely vanquished. Soon people's DNA will be activated to 12 strands and they will be able to fly. Soon, hidden technology will be available and we'll have free energy. Soon there will be a fair economy, fair governance, fair laws. Soon the oceans will be clean and all the polution neutralized. Soon. Soon. Soon. At this point the cognitive dissonance is very noisy. The New Age hope of a brand new world in twelve months (2012) is seeming more and more like just another fantastic belief system like the Rapture Christians, the Mormons or Jehovah's Witnesses.
These are my thoughts at the moment.

(14,270 posts)so are you here to tell us we are all living in a fantasy...or are you one who aspires to be enlightened or cultivate understanding? I get a feeling of snark and that isn't necessarily the norm around here
Snark is as far from how I feel about this as I can imagine.
sorry, not used to your name, and being here kind of has me on 'alert' mode...it's hard feeling like our little safety place is gone, and i was not sure if we were going to be having more people here in ASAH creating disruption.
thanks for allowing for clarification.

(1,262 posts)I was just saying what was on my mind. Had no intention to disrupt anything. You won't have a problem from me with that, even if I do post from time to time in the forum.
Whatever I say, it's just another opinion.
Peace.

(42 posts)I am glad they changed DU and are allowing "outsiders." I am in line with spirituality all the way, but I am also aware of how it can be used to avoid what needs to be done ("Mercury retrograde...guess I won't run all my errands for two weeks!" . Same applies to all these prophecies and whatnot. I also believe that the Illuminati will use the Mayan calendar as an excuse to terrorize people into thinking the world will end. So bottom line: don't allow your pain body (Eckhart Tolle's term) to get activated when you suspect that someone is crapping all over your belief system or even be hypervigilant about supposed snark.

(2,649 posts)It's so frustrating because most of us in this group are so beyond ready for the shift, and I confess that I've felt the same skepticism that it will ever happen..
I guess what frustrates me most is working so hard to hold the light while most of the world seems so oblivious and mired down in the dark 3D energies.
That's when this lovely group of folks in the ASAH group lifts me up and gives me hope. When I'm at my darkest, I can always find someone out here to listen, offer suggestions, offer hope. It's such a breath of fresh air.

(713 posts)I keep thinking/feeling that when we move into the higher dimensions or "shift" that it will be really subtle and we'll just be there and won't even realize it until after we've been there a bit and begin to take note of how things are different...and then we'll be like, "Hey wait a minute! How'd I get here, I didn't even notice the shift!" That's the way the new DU3 feels to me, it's like I ended up here somehow and I'm not sure how..lol.

(14,270 posts)I like the idea of it being an easy transition, one ythat just takes some getting used to rather than something gut wrenching!
