Why I deleted all of my work

It was reading between the lines of fierywoman's post that had me decide to delete all of my ego driven work. All of my life I have been one to help others. Living frugally on a social security check I have bailed others out financially, even giving up my last penny on more than one occaision. My posts stopped an adult woman from taking her life after she posed what she thought would be her last communication over on Adienst. She wrote me telling me.

Being a natural researcher, and because I find information that most others don't (finding points using right ascensions), and have a technique that presents material in a way that nobody else can (progressed anlunars and demi-anlunars). I share it. Not because of my ego but because that is the only way it will get presented as nobody else practices the techniques.

Have felt bad because so many would thank me for posting and I did not take the time to thank everyone for that.

I posted so much because I wanted to help others, not because of ego needs.

Congratulations fierywoman. Your Indirect communication got to me.

many here appreciate your work, and your efforts. Please do not let one person's words chase you off. They are wrong to swipe at you due to their own lack of understanding. There is past history with this group of which you are most likely unaware, but you should not let it bother you. You ARE welcome here, and I for one sincerely hope you KEEP POSTING your insights.

Bob, we appreciate all you do to help us understand what is happening in this surreal nightmare and, perhaps most importantly, you so graciously and adeptly provide HOPE that this nightmare is drawing to a close.

Please reconsider posting!

I don't know the person you are referencing, but never ever let one person change your mind when your intentions are good. Your clearly are altruistic and we NEED YOU!

Much respect and appreciation for all you have done and I sure hope you will reconsider.

I would hope that this forum would welcome different points of view, as long as they weren't too disparaging of the fact that interest in astrology is not accepted by many in the main stream. Thank you for the extensive amount of work that you did for the posts that you shared. Please don't let someone drive you away.

While I personally know very little about Astrology, I think it is great that DU has a forum for those who do to discuss. I'm not religious, but I'm likewise glad there are all those forums and subforums for those who are to discuss. POlitics is what drew us all here, but these interest groups are what make it more than just another website.

I hope you continue to feel good about doing so.

Some don't realize this supposed to be a place for positive discussions. A protected Group, as it once was.

To be honest, I feel quite the opposite from poster you mention above...if you were to personally thank/engage anyone who thanked you for posting that would seem far more ego driven to me than the path you chose. Not to mention, it would take so much time...time you could devote to the work with which you’ve been generous.

I hope you consider sharing your knowledge again with those of us who have grown to appreciate the intricacies of what you do. You have quite a gift and I have found comfort in reading your words. Thank you Bob.

I have never, for even a second, thought your work was ego-driven. Although I don't typically comment, I've found your posts fascinating and insightful. I wish I understood even 2% of what you share and deeply respect your knowledge. I go so far as to say I wish you'd post far more, and help those of us who don't understand the mechanics and techniques of astrology to learn from your wisdom. Please, reconsider.
