Wow, what a big week for us! One we have anticipated for a long time.

This Tuesday afternoon (April 3) my daughter (6/5/98) will audition for theatre at a magnet high school she has dreamed about attending for as long as I can remember (my alma mater!). If she makes it, she'll finally be in the supportive artistic environment that she craves.

Apparently, we won't find out until if she's chosen until June. If she does make it, we have to move to the school district, so I have to sell my house and then buy another within three months. Whew!

Lots of exciting stuff ahead if she gets in, so we could could use some good vibes if you are so inclined!

2. Fun trick I learned for house selling...

orange candle. Add prayers for help from St. Joseph if necessary. Doesn't matter if you're not Catholic or even Christian. I have seen this work several times. I know it sounds silly, but I recommend the orange candle all the way.

My 14 year old just opened last night in her high school production of Hello Dolly. The theatre scene has been huge for her too, and I pray your daughter finds as much enjoyment and acceptance there as mine has in hers. She made the comment the other night that it feels like "family" to her...
