Feels fantastic to finally have it finished and out in the world. (It's called Inhuman Resources, about the murder of a homeless woman in Seattle.)

I'm not buying too many physical books anymore (I still do, if there's no Kindle version.) Do you have an excerpt online somewhere we can read? I wouldn't mind taking a look

Copngratulations on getting it out there, too. I know it will be a relief for me whenever I can get mine organized properly, edited and finished!

but I do have a Kindle (and a computer, and a format-converter program, mainly for seeing how my stuff looks on a Kindle)

Unlike many people, I don't mind reading books on my computer. I do it all the time! Especially the writing and editing part

I'll go take a look for your book then.

If you like it, please do me the favor of a good review on Amazon. I'd love to attract a big publisher.

Too much violence in the world; it seems that mars station jammed everything up, including me. I have been simmering with anger and exhausted.

Mars has been sitting on my natal saturn and wont budge till the month's end. I am trying to practice 'serenity now' and not take the judgments of others to heart. I am power walking 6miles daily to burn off the frustration and getting lot of housecleaning done. But professionally people are getting on my last nerve.

Not take others' judgments to heart? Please tell me how it works for you. I can't manage that at all.

I try to see with compassion..into what motivates them to judge...
sometimes stepping out of myself... helps me get beyond the judgments.

I've lived for years trying to make everyone happy,
but I've learned that I'm not here to make everyone happy..
I have a goal and a path to get there, but pleasing everyone
isn't it. I try to be pleasant, helpful, loving,
and if in some small way I can help you on your journey,
but ...

I guess too much scar tissue has built up around my battered,
oft-broken heart. Don't like who I am, or what I do?
That's life....

sounds callus I guess... but life is too short to dance
to the tune of another's music...

I hope it all keeps moving forward for you, too! Let us all know the details as you get them

I also got a call today. For an interview tomorrow with a large engineering firm here in town. If I get the position, the contractor told me the wage is fairly high. That is, the lowest in the range is about 50% more than my last position!

It does seem like "A New Day" today

I knew what to do to take care of myself. I only got the xray to make sure I hadn't shattered it with little pieces of bone floating around. It was a clean break...sort of a sheared off part (I hit the edge of the sidewalk) BUt, arnica gel and comfrey leaf poultice will get me well soon.

Believe it or not, unless I try to do something weird, there is no pain. It's uncomfortable using my right side so much (my right shoulder is sore from hoisting myself) but soon, I'll be fine. But it's just the continuation of shit that I'm going through right now.
