3. Nice prayer to help relieve stress, sprinkleeninow. Thanks for posting.

I personally use meditations both from various sources and some of my own making to help bring a bit of peace to my over-active far-too-detailed mind.

Whether or not these go anywhere beyond the sound of my voice, I don't know. But, I do know they provide emotional relief for me when well repeated, as do mind quieting exercises.

Each of us needs every single tool we can have in our spiritual toolbox today just to survive the turmoil of Trump and the GOP.

Thereby, we are never "owned".

4. Daily I say, "How can this be? How can this?" The current atmosphere is so foreign to me,

to my spirit. Civilization/civility is in reverse.

You are so correct in saying we will not be owned. The operative word being 'will'. We will ourselves to not have 'them' drag us down to their pit.

1st we learned 'Peace on earth, goodwill toward men'

Then it was 'Peace on earth to men of goodwill'

Then in a German Bible the German that translates

'Peace on earth and goodwill toward those who allow themselves to be loved by God'

Sending His, taking on the form/nature of humanity at the Nativity/Incarnation.
