(162,491 posts)I was immediately attached to the articles I was seeing here. Never forgot about it after that. Little did I know, at the time, that archeology was going to explode with the breakthrough in LIDAR, which would throw open doors unavailable earlier, allowing discovery from above the ground, instead of dragging behinds through deserts, tropical forests, etc., etc., consuming entire lifetimes and often getting nowhere at all!
Real progress beyond one's wildest dreams are always right around the corner now, could happen anytime at all! Perception of consciousness and history can be transformed in a heartbeat! So much to anticipate.
So glad to see your post. It's an amazing place to gather news in passing, with awareness there will always be more!
