Man called homosexuality evil on his CV, then sued for discrimination

Under ‘Key Achievements’, Mr Savage had written: “Standing up for and defending my religious beliefs which include that abortion on demand is evil and homosexuality is an intrinsic disorder inclined towards evil.”

When the adviser at Seeter warned him that the passage could harm his chances of getting the job, Mr Savage instead decided to open a complaint against them for religious discrimination.

in business or in religion. Wearing your religion on your sleeve in this belligerent a manner would disqualify him from a lot of jobs where people are expected to tolerate each other so they can cooperate and produce results.

I can think of quite a few religious organizations where he might be a good fit, especially in the US.

He's not going to win that lawsuit.

And the irony is delicious:

He claimed that the spat violated Section 21 of the Equal Status Act, insisting that he was discriminated against on the grounds of religion.

I rather enjoy watching religious bigots pretend they're being persecuted by others.

A curriculum vitae (Latin for “course of (one's) life”) is “a short account of one's career and qualifications prepared typically by an applicant for a position” – in other words, a résumé. Curriculum vitae is abbreviated CV, and is pluralized as curricula vitae.

Once again, I learn.

Thank you, Internet.
