In Oregon the speed limit is 65, the head of the state troopers has publicly stated that they will give anyone 10 MPH since speedometers can be that far off as long as they are not dodging in and out of traffic... BUT if they stop you and you have a radar detector on board they will tag you..I drive it a lot and have never been given a second look at 70 or so...

13. I jay-walk in front of cops all the time. I just say a little prayer to Odin before doing it.

Of course it helps that our city has no anti-jay-walking statute, so it's perfectly legal here. (But I'm pretty sure Odin had a hand in creating our city laws. How else can I possibly explain that laws set down before I was even born benefit me so?)
