Most Americans believe in imaginary gods, an imaginary heaven and an imaginary hell.

So why are we surprised when they cast their votes to battle imaginary problems, or to support imaginary policies? Their religious beliefs predispose them to being suckered, to believe in make believe. The more fantastic the story, the better.

I had the misfortune and horror of seeing a MAGAts personal FB page a year or so ago and every image of tRump was a photoshopped, manufactured image of him as Superman, Rambo, the Jon McNaughton portraits of him with the founding fathers, etc. etc. etc. Not one of them was real. They live in an imaginary fairy land where he is good, and the Democrats are evil. Talk about brainwashing……

To an orange Jesus just because he can pepper spray protesters to walk across a park instead of water to hold a bible upside down in front of a church. Proving he’s a good Christian.

In the OT, once you died you slept with your forebears. It was gentle Jesus, meek and mild who invented and preached an eternity in hellfire for those who did not confess him as savior. But he loves you!

bible classes / nursery school while my parents and older siblings were in the church. Even then I internally questioned why those in charge thought we were ALL so gullible. I knew it then.

My family stopped going to church soon after, my father did feel that all humans were 'connected', but that church and organized religion a lot of baloney.
