Winter weather advisories up for southern Maryland and adjacent parts of Virginia

With cold temperatures, won't take much to cause difficult travel. Snowfall may coincide with commute. Details: http://cwg.live

Happening now: Still breezy at times this evening as we fall through the 20s. Clouds thicken overnight with cold lows in the teens most spots, perhaps near 20 downtown.

What’s next? A snowstorm looks to veer mostly south of the region Wednesday into Thursday, but we can’t rule out a dusting to 2 inches, especially south of D.C. Arctic air stays through Friday before a less chilly weekend.
